So you know how you get teachers that make you write a long paper with 1" margins, double spaced, 12 pt font, Times New Roman, and they check all that shit? Well if they let you submit it online or email it to them (all students and teachers at my school use laptops) then you can make the entire fucking page smaller. Reduce your 9"x11" paper to a 9"x10" and email it in. They won't notice scrolling down one less inch per page. Of course if you gotta print it out, it'll be obvious

My teachers use word count, so that is no good here. However, you would be amazed how many contractions you will normally use in papers. Just separate those into their original words and +1 word count.
